It’s unfortuante but sometimes rides or events need to be cancelled at short notice. We will update our ride calendar as soon as we know of a cancellation,but not everyone has mobile email.
We have set up an answerphone where we can leave a message informing you of last minute cancellations –ideal if you’re nowhere near a PC or smartphone. All you need to do is call the Cycle Seahaven RideLine and listen to the message. You get charged a local call rate for the few seconds it takes (assuming you are local to Seahaven),so it’s not expensive.
Dial the number and hopefully you’ll hear us say something like ‘Welcome to Cycle Seahaven RideLine. There are no cancellations to published rides’. If it’s bad news and the ride/event is cancelled we’ll say so.
Remember that this service is only for LAST MINUTE cancellations,i.e those cancelled within a few hours of starting. Normally you will need to check the online calendar or phone the ride leader an hour before the start.
