A259 Cycle Way under construction

You may have noticed that the shared cycle route proposed by Cycle Seahaven is currently under construction between Newhaven and Peacehaven. This scheme is being achieved by filling in the gap created when the road was narrowed to keep traffic away from subsidence. Cycle rail fund schemes 2015 to 2016

Seaford, Bishopstone and Newhaven Town are amongst the towns allocated a share of £14.5 million to improve cycle facilities at hundreds of railways stations. Our local rail stations will benefit from additional covered cycle storage and CCTV. Newhaven Port Development

This coming Tuesday 14th October NPP is running a Public Consultation on the proposed Newhaven Port Development between 2pm and 8pm at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven. Parker Pen Site Development

A Planning proposal has been added for 145 homes on the old Parker Pen Site. There are further plans on the drawing board for substantially more houses on the adjoining Eastside.
