‘Ride the Downs’ Health Rides

Participant Survey Cycle the Downs. Starting Wednesday 4th July Cycle Seahaven will be offering regular weekly Health Rides.  The ride will start at 7pm in Seaford, on the seafront end of Edinburgh Road (near the ice cream van) and will use the National Cycle path to Newhaven for the second pick up at 7.20pm at Denton Corner. From here we will continue along the cycle path to Peacehaven where we will have our third pick up at 8pm at The Big Park (Centenary Park). These rides are open to non-members as well as members and are part of the ‘Ride the Downs’ initiative together with South Downs National Park.

So if you fancy dusting off your bike, donning a helmet and joining us for a fun evening then here’s your chance.

The rides will usually be around 10-15 miles in length and will be ridden at a very steady gentle pace.  We use cycle paths and gentle off-road tracks to get you started and help build confidence.  Ride Leaders will be on hand to offer support and advice along the way.

These rides are a great introduction to cycling the Downs so why not take the chance to enjoy the outdoors while the weather is so great.

Details of rides can be found on the website calendar.  Please contact the Ride Leader to let them know you will be coming or to ask any other questions.

Please note that all riders MUST wear a helmet and non club members will be asked to complete a registration form. To save time please download it using the link below and bring the form with you (Ride Leaders will have spare copies).
