Thanks go to all ride leaders. It is great to have you on board to introduce new and regular rides but, of course, a special thanks must go to Mike Godwin who is our Ride Leader coordinator. Mike has recently chaired a meeting with ride leaders; not all could attend but enough did to make some worthwhile decisions for ride leading. In summary her are a few items discussed.
RL’s to provide more advanced notice of rides on the calendar. A Multi-Ride event is planned for August. A request for more weekend rides. Radios (owned by the club) are still being used, primarily on WOW rides. Sarah Winser will look after them for the club. It is recommended that we all get booster Tetanus jabs every 10 years – note to self! Mike Godwin is our First-Aid kit “manager”. If you need a top up, contact him. A discussion ensued at the meeting on horse etiquette. This will be included on our club website. Our intrepid RL Lawrence is hoping to include more gravel bike rides on the calendar.
