Dr. Bike, run by Cycle Seahaven, is back.

Priority will be given to key workers so please bring your work ID along if you are claiming a priority slot.

We are all volunteer cycle enthusiasts from Cycle Seahaven, your local club.

We will be maintaining a strict two metre Social Distancing policy. Therefore whilst your bike is having a safety check by our team, you will be asked to wait away from the work area.

Dr Bike’ is a group of cycle enthusiasts from Cycle Seahaven who want to help local people to use their bikes more. If you are not pedalling because of dodgy brakes, stiff gears, rattles, creaks or soft tyres, then bring your poorly cycle to a Cycle Seahaven Dr Bike surgery.

We don’t charge for labour and, as we have now received a grant from Cycling UK, any parts used are free. You are of course welcome to make a donation to our nominated charity, registered charity No 1158693, which for 2021/2022 is Seaford Down’s Syndrome and Special Needs Support Group.

Dr Bike surgeries are dependant on UK Goverment Covid Restrictions.

Dr Bike is at:

  • Seaford on the 1st Saturday of the month
  • Peacehaven on the 3rd Saturday of the month
  • Newhaven on the 4th Saturday of the month

All times are 10:00 to 12:00

***The Newhaven surgery will be at the new Active Travel Hub based at The Sidings by the Railway Club in Newhaven from 23 October***
