It’s been another great year of cycling for the tourers with 139 rides have taken place, slightly more than last year. This figure breaks down as 67 relaxed touring, 63 touring, 7 touring plus and 2 touring gravel rides. I expect to there will be more touring gravel rides in 2026 as more tourers buy gravel bikes. See Grading System for more details on the pace of our rides.
The picture is of some tourers at a new café which has recently opened: The Shinewater Café. Although we have a good selection of cafés and tearooms to visit it’s always good to see a new one open.
We aim to have three rides each week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Occasionally, there are two rides on a Thursday or Sunday going at different paces but meeting up at the same café/tearoom. All are rides are advertised in the Club Calendar.
